Outburst During Obama Speech Okay????

And people are discussing the loopholes that will allow illegals to get healthcare and/or subsidies in the Democrats plan. And the poll numbers still are trending down on the president and the scheme. Strategery or not, the country is getting the message and not liking what they are hearing. Maybe if the Dems weren't so drunk with their own greatness and would consult with the other side, they MIGHT be able to get some real reform. But since the President hasn't spoken with a single Rep since April on the healthcare scheme I don't see much bi-partisanism going on. Once again, making the Carter years look good.

Here's what confuses me. O-man proposes reform and it states, at least in the latest version, the care for undocumented people will not be given. Under the current plan that is veheimently defended by the Right, undocumented workers can walk into a hospital and get cared for. So why is everyone so upset that something is being proposed that addresses the issue? is it simply that people cannot fathom the idea of Obama fixing this issue that the Republicans had 6 years of complete control in which to do such a thing?

Don't start bringing reason and logic into this. :26:

What I'm saying is neither side is tackling the real issue. But, there is absolutely no question that what Obama said is a lie, the CSA had just briefed Congress on that a week before.

It can say it will not be given in the bill, but, with no requiirement for enforcement, and the bill specifically saying all Americans, it is just fake.

It would be as if the law said you can't drink and drive, but there were zero breathalizers, dexterity tests, etc.

Why can't these friggin politicians tell the truth? A doctor cannot turn away an illegal who shows up at an emergency room, period. The rules should be they are treated, then detained for deportation.

Just in California the estimates are 6 billion dollars annually of state funds are spent on the children of illegals who have documents they were born in the US. Constitutionally they are citizens if the documents are true.

Read the CSA briefing report and then tell me that is reasonable or logical. It's fromn the Library of Congresses own research think tank and they said it covers all illegals and briefed them on it in late August.

Not true. Dem reform has several loopholes that include not being able to ask someone's status before treatment and not tying in imm status to the credits that will be issued to people buying into the public option. See the report Paul references. So it does not really address the issue. As to the Reps not doing anything about it, every time ANY law was mentioned that would adversely effect illegals, every left wing group in sight started mass protests, work stoppages, etc. Since health care is just one facet of the II problem why would they even try to start there-not politically feasible.

As I said, if they want any chance of doing this, there needs to be ideas from both sides with some common sense thrown in, but so far the Dems have shown NO sign of bi-partisanship and no sign of common sense.

so far the Dems have shown NO sign of bi-partisanship.

We all know there will be no bi-partisanship unless Obama switches to the Rep party, hires an illegal to mow his lawn and yells at a townhall meeting. :sifone:

What really hurts is how the Dems are serving back the same medicine from the early 2000's, when Cheney, et al convened Reps behind closed doors and locked Dems out.

Really? Now over a half mil from over 14,000 donors for his opponent.
Yep. Roughly 35 bucks per hard core leftist. At least according to ActBlue. (Although the way that they track is actually gifts, not individual, discreet donors.) Actually... this is disappointing considering that the last underqualified candidate that the leftists ran as the "anbody but the last guy" did so much better.

Wonder why we aren't hearing about all that cash flowing to ol joe. :ack2:
Wonder why nobody knows who the phuck Rob Miller is anyway... even you... a hardcore leftist didn't use the candidate's (Rob Miller) name... choosing instead to refer to him as "Wilsons opponent."

No incumbents.
No politicians.
No lawyers.

They ALL have to be voted out. Rile up your friends, your neighbors, your coworkers. Get someone to run for office if you won't do it yourself.

Quit b!tching and DO SOMETHING!

I think I would like to be governor of South Carolina. :)

Let me set up a fund raising page, get some tickets to Argentina and I'll be right back. :D

Rat, actually the illegal in the ER serves another purpose entirely. From personal experience, when I worked in so cal, the BP would round up a group, if any if them can claim an illness or injury convincingly enough, the BP calls it in, fire and ems are called out, and the IA gets an ambulance ride to the hospital... now here is the kicker... The BP does NOT take the IA into custody. If the BP takes them into custody the fire dept ambulance and hosp. can bill and get paid by the govt. Not in custody the govt is not on the hook and fire ems and hospitals eat the bill. Since the IA was not taken into custody, the BP does not accompany. The IA gets to the hosital, gets a little care, something to eat and makes a phone call. a few minutes later a ride shows up and the IA walks out of the hospital AMA and is off scott free to wherever.

*DISCLAIMER* the following is a joke, designed to decrease the tension of heated political discussion, thus allowing better discussion.

Then a little man dressed in a black jumpsuit, rose to his feet. He exclaimed in a loud voice that bipartsionship be damned!! He had the fastest safest best handling healthcare plan ever devised!

It doesn't matter what our political differences might be, I suggest you get appointed Sandford's replacement, then the entire politically-charged SOS brotherhood will go on a "mission' to Argentina. it'll be double-secret and no credit cards will be used. Afetr 10 days, we'll come back and start the banter again.

And I STRONGLY suggest we take Clay and his little black book with us.

Wow. That is sad.

Now there is somthing I never would have guessed in my wildest dreams abot Government Corruption even as cynical as I am that they are all crooks, liars and thieves.

Yes there will be. As soon as they are all gone and we start over....

Or, Rush switches to the Dem party, hires an illegal to clean his house, and boos during a State of the Union speech......:sifone:

Wonder why nobody knows who the phuck Rob Miller is anyway... "

Interestingly enough, Miller beat Wilson in the last election by about 54% to 46% or something close to that. Wilson spent $700,000 on his campaign last time. Until this, he had only around $50,000 in his war chest, now will have over a million it looks like.

Miller had around $200,000 in his, and they have so far had over $300,000 reported sent in, and the rumors are way more than that really received.

So, next year we will have a Congressional race in a district with upwards of $2 million spent........:ack2:
