And people are discussing the loopholes that will allow illegals to get healthcare and/or subsidies in the Democrats plan. And the poll numbers still are trending down on the president and the scheme. Strategery or not, the country is getting the message and not liking what they are hearing. Maybe if the Dems weren't so drunk with their own greatness and would consult with the other side, they MIGHT be able to get some real reform. But since the President hasn't spoken with a single Rep since April on the healthcare scheme I don't see much bi-partisanism going on. Once again, making the Carter years look good.
Here's what confuses me. O-man proposes reform and it states, at least in the latest version, the care for undocumented people will not be given. Under the current plan that is veheimently defended by the Right, undocumented workers can walk into a hospital and get cared for. So why is everyone so upset that something is being proposed that addresses the issue? is it simply that people cannot fathom the idea of Obama fixing this issue that the Republicans had 6 years of complete control in which to do such a thing?
