For those of you not familiar with the accident in Michigan City, you can kind of see what started what happened at the 19 minute mark of the video linked from one view, and around the 19:19 mark on another camera angle shows the accident. They had no where to go.

Colleen will probably be in the hospital for several more weeks for several more surgeries.

She will probably be in the hospital in Chicago for another 7 or 8 weeks before being able to be moved. Hopefully they are wrong about that, and she will recover quicker.

It was great to see Colleen at the Englewood races. She is still undergoing therapy on her wrist/arm, but otherwise has been doing well.

She specifically said that she was extremely thankful for the money raised by the Go Fund Me page set up by lur Old School friends. One of the things it allowed her children to do, pay for the special vehicle requirements to get her from the Chicago hospital to her home much before she would have been allowed to fly.

She said it was a tremendous help, and that it got her past the $ issues just fine.

She also said she plans to race again and it may be the same boat, or they may get a different one.
