Ok, i ran the line fron the center (pressure) to the filter and then ran the return from the filter to the side of the cooler with the t-stat. i ran the other line from the opposite side of the cooler without the thermostat back down to the return to the engine. i thnk i got it right. i was priming the engine and this time the drill would slip on the shaft of the tool. must be a big load on the drill or something. there is oil in the filter and all looks good but i am not getting to the point of seeing it after the cam to the distributor.
