"Official" NCAA Football Smack Talkin Thread

>The fact that it was the mighty SEC taking the bruising on New Year's Day shows that maybe all the reputations aren't reality. The league is just 5-5 in bowls so far, while the ACC is 4-6 and the Big 12 just 1-4. The Pac-12 is tops at 5-1.

"There's a perception out here," Urban Meyer said. "I'll tell you when I think the tide turned a little bit when Wisconsin beat Auburn. Everybody on our team knew that. I made sure they knew that.

"When Michigan State came back and beat an excellent Baylor team. And maybe the Big Ten's not that bad. Maybe the Big Ten is pretty damned good. And it's certainly getting better.

"So, there's no doubt that when we saw Wisconsin beat Auburn, that was a major, major moment for us getting ready for this game. Also I watched the end of the Michigan State game. And we were pulling hard for them. And then our players, you should have seen their face, man, they knew. They knew."

Yep, and Ford it looks like. What idiots, it's only the biggest game they will probably ever be a part of. :cuss: :banghead:

It does kind of piss you off when comparing a positive test for marijuana, in a state where it's legal, to what went on at Florida State since Fisher took over as coach.

It's been a long day waitin!
I'm feeling good about my boys. We like being the Underdog.:cheers2: Plus ya gotta give me 6 1/2.

Wow, they introduced the college hall of fame inductees and two of the five were kicked out of the ncaa for cheating. Tressel and Bosworth. I am really shocked they did that.

Game time!!!!

If Oregon's backup receivers keep dropping balls when they are wide open, we are done......

Makes you want to drive to Oregon and smack those pot smoking players right in the chops......

I made it until the end. Well, when Ohio went for the added touchdown after they drew the offsides instead of taking the knee and running out the clock I was done. I thought they had more class. That's not what I expected from that program.

I guess there were just too many Oregon key players hurt. Everyone was thinking that Super Mario could overcome anything but he couldn't catch his own passes. The other Big 14 teams must really be wondering what they are going to do next season. Ohio looks to be very young and very good. Who would you rank above them to start the season next season?

can I get an I-O? smack smack smack talkin...
4 fumbles?!?! Our defence won the game getting the ball back on on 3 out of 4 of them and only a 3 point on the 4th.
It was fun.
The final score was for a season of Nay Sayers. If it was closer the excuses would be rolling.

Fun for you maybe. When they dropped the second wide open pass I about broke my glasses throwing them across the room!!!:cuss: I was also surprised they went for the TD on fourth with a run instead of rolling Mariota out and let him see what he could find.

The defense did less to stop Oregon than they did to stop themselves. Losing all-American Olomu at CB was big for defending the long passes. Along with losing Allen, Carrington, Brown, Addison and Forde was just too much. It would have been one heck of a game if they had been able to play. Plus the penalty not allowing them to practice so Ohio could have a better chance all add up.

How am I doing so far?:sifone:
