"Official" NCAA Football Smack Talkin Thread

I watched both the Clemson/OSU game and the Mizzou / OSU games at the same time, it was easy to click back and forth after a score...it was like it was choreographed for TV. Excellent games.

Still haven't beaten a top 15 team since the Heart Attack Kid took over. Heck, Michigan almost beat them and Kansas State that finished barely bowl eligible from the Big 12 (5th place) crushed Michigan.

Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes have won 24 of their last 25 games, but none of those victories came against an opponent ranked in the Top 15. On Friday, in the Discover Orange Bowl, No. 7 Ohio State will have the opportunity to validate its historic run against the No. 12 Clemson Tigers.

The Buckeyes (12-1) are approaching the Orange Bowl as a chance to not only get back to their winning ways, but to also prove that they're the championship-caliber team that winning 24 consecutive games would suggest.

But didn't end up so good for you. Nice to see the top two teams in the SEC both lose their bowl games though. I thought Auburn would win it though.

Auburn covered the spread. Have friend down here that 16-1 with 8 pt spread....I think he's a happy camper this AM .

Interesting that the new AP poll shows Auburn as number 2 with 2 losses instead of Michigan State with only 1 loss......

Idiot!! Out of the championship most likely now......:banghead:

KEY PLAY: Oregon's Tony Washington sacked Solomon for a nine-yard loss on third and goal at the Oregon 8, but was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for bowing to the crowd afterward. That gave Arizona a fresh set of downs, and it scored the winning TD three plays later.

Have to go to Lansing and watch the Michigan State, Nebraska game today. Weather is not supposed to be too good, high of 46 and 60% chance of rain.
