Got a new to me toy. Been looking for one of these for about two years now. Have found several, just not the right one for the right price.

Highschool buddy of mind calls me last Friday and says make me an offer on some stuff I need gone. Made him a stupid low ball offer on it and he bit. I was surprised when I saw it was still in great condition considering the prices these things are bringing.

Be careful. THose old 2 strokes were man killers. Had a mean power band. Super fun though.

phragle is correct, it's an 86 350X. Damn near stole the thing.

I probably have more seat time on a three wheeler than I do a quad. Spent my entire youth tearing up the better part of our county with mine and many others.

inbetween, I agree. More fun than a quad. I own a YFZ and can't wait to spend some afternoons in the woods on this thing.

I actually rode this particular bike the day after he bought it. He brought it out to my parents farm because he didn't have a place to ride it in town. I hadn't seen it since that day. Now it's in the hands of it's rightful owner. :)

Masher, I'm actually keeping my eyes open for a nice clean 200X for the right $$$. Would love to own one of those too.

Good luck. I think you found the rarest one of all, the 350. Every one I see is destroyed or big money. As a kid I raced a 125m with no suspension and would get thrown all the time. Then got the 200x, then the yamie tri Z. Never owned the 350 or rode one.

If you know what your doing on a 3 wheeler you can dust any 4 wheeler of the same size

I almost agree. I had a 250R. The racing version of the BIG RED. Put thousands of miles on that thing. I rode it every day when I was a kid. It was finally so worn out that even new parts wouldn't work on it any more.

GOOD TIMES>

I had the Kaw Tecate' 250 three wheeler, talk about a wild one. Ive also had several Tri-motos and a 250 Quadracer. The Tecate was by far the fastest one out there. My buddy had a 350X and i got to take it out once in a while. Wayyy heavy compared to my bike but was a lot of fun to ride. Sheer stump pulling torque.

I raced motocross as a kid so I know (knew) what I was doing on a bike- or so I thought.

Coming in late one night and feeling NO pain, I dropped my buddy off. He opened his garage door and there sat one of those pieces of $hit. Of course I had to stop and look. He picked it up at a yard sale that previous afternoon- got a great deal. He one-kicked it and it fired right up. Of course I had to "take it for a spin". Here I am, half-pickled and blazing down his suburban street at 3:30 AM. I got out of the throttle and went to turn in the intersection a block down. Of course it didn't turn- even slightly. The front tire just hopped across the pavement. So I did what any motorcyclist would do- I shifted my weight forward and into the turn. And I stuck my left foot out. The next thing I remember was the sound of quiet- and pain. Turns out you are SUPPOSED TO LEAVE YOUR FEET ON THE PEGS! I missed that part. When I stuck my foot out it caught my heel and sucked me right off and under than SOB- slammed me right to the pavement then drove over me. I was not pleased. Last time I was ever on one.

I owned one of those things for 20 years just sold it a couple years ago, still kicking myself for doing that. I remember back in the day there was nothing that could touch that thing, and with enough seat time the fact that it was a little heavy meant nothing, but be carefull. Since it is such a beast when it gets a little out of shape it WILL bite you.
