New Cafe Owner Questions

You guys knew it was coming - the questions.

I read every Cafe thread on all the sites before buying my '91. A lot of good info.

I'm looking for an owner's manual and wiring diagram. Any other emailable info that might be available would be very helpful. :)

Oh, and if the Cig forum sponsor could send a box of samples that would be great! My wife likes to keep extras on the boat just in case. ;)

If he sends you ANYTHING resembling this, do NOT open it. Diall 911 and tell them you have a haz-mat situation.

However if it looks like this, it's probably safe to open (he may be trying to redeem himself so he doesn't get duct taped to a bouy in key west)

I remember when he was peddling the Kool-Aid on that other site. I didn't drink it then, and I ain't touching it now! :26:

I have the entire Cafe manual with wiring, plumbing, etc. that I can email you. I scanned it into PDF format. It's at home, I can email it to you tonight. Send me an email to cigdaze at gmail d0t c0m

Dude! I just got the boat. Patience man!

Here's a pic from the pull home. I submit it for it's artistic quality (note the reflection on the top of the tool box). :biggrinjester:

The V10 pulled the boat just fine. The biggest hassle was choosing gas stations carefully. We did the "no way here, let's try the next exit" routine a few times. I'm looking forward to moving up to a diesel, but I gotta wait until spring for the 6.7's to come out.

We are going to check out the area with our boat in a few weeks and let the experience dictate if we add a lift behind the house for her, or just run her down there from time to time. Either way, the boat will spend most of its time on midwestern lakes.

Here's a canal view from the back of the house. The end of the canal puts you at the North end of Estero Island.
