Need Some Strength

My father-in-law goes for open heart surgery tomorrow...

The offshore community's prayers seem to do wonders.

Please keep him in your thoughts.

Many of you from New Jersey may have even had him do your bulkheads for you!

He's still the best around and knows everything there is to know about driving piles.

Vincent is one of the toughest guys around but I know this will surely test him.

At age 75, he is still out the door at the crack of dawn to go to work.

He is not one to sit around.

He would probably tell me that the operation is not what would bother him, it would be the recovery afterward...

May GOD give him strength to get through this....

He'll feel better than he has in years. My dad had a six bypass several years ago. Mom said it was the first time since they've been married that dad didn't have cold feet in bed.

Doc says he is strong.

They did not have to do a quadruple bypass but instead a triple.

That was encouraging.

I said to him in no time he will be ready for a trip to Atlantic City.
His eyes opened briefly after that comment. He loves AC!

I couldn't stay any longer....
It brought back the memories I had of Scott "Just Truckin" when I saw him for the last time.

I find it harder and harder to visit hospitals anymore.
But I found the strength not to break down in front of my wife and kids.

Now he just needs to get through the recovery process...
