National Performance Boat Museum, go's live!

A few weeks ago we announced we had this idea... We are continuing to work toward our goal of opening a state of the art facility. This facility will promote the Performance Boat lifestyle with history and events throughout the year.

This weekend we kicked off our first event by attending the Dog Days on water boat show in Osage Beach, MO. From there we are heading to Desert Storm on Lake Havasu City AZ at the end of the month.

At Dog Days, we heard numerous stories from people’s past that truly have molded our boating fever! Whether it is the racing or poker runs, we all have reasons why we enjoy this sport as much as we do. The museum is the outlet to show how we have arrived at today’s passion. Please join us in making this Museum the outlet of boating history for years to come.

We have began the Fund Raising portion; there is numerous ways financially you can help in supporting. Remember we are a not for profit facility so there may be tax advantages for you.

Become a member of the Museum, as part of the initial offering we currently have 3 levels of Membership: Supporter($25), Charter ($75) and Commercial.($250) Each level includes benefits, which are outlined on our website.

Additional ways to help support the museum:

We have acquired a Donzi Sweet 16 boat, which we will be raffling to be given away at Shootout (LOTO) in August. Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. You do not have to be present to win!

We have t-shirts and a nice woman's "Burnt" shirt design which promotes the Museum in it's design. (free shipping)

Be part of the museums history. We have available bricks that can be engraved with personal sayings, names or business logos, really anything. These bricks will be placed in the sidewalks on the museums property. You will receive a picture of the brick along with a certificate of placement.

If you wish to make a donation of Memorabilia or money, we would truly appreciate that also. Everything helps!

Our website went live last Friday, you can find us at:

We are building toward the future in boating history by promoting what has been and what will be! Become part of the excitement!
