My refresh!!!

Ya gotta just love the ODNR! they got nothing to do but harass the very people who are paying taxes so they have a job! I thought they were there to help / not hinder boaters.

Everything went great on the dock, checked every fitting and all was good...

However, ODNR almost impounded my boat. My OH numbers were improperly displayed (they were two tone), did not have navigational rules book aboard (Never heard of having to have that), then my registration did not match the hull, the X in the vin number was scuffed and could not be read from what they said. One hour of hasseling and they let me go, said they could take my boat. So not to happy on the harasment but oh well. I'll remedy the problems and be good to go.

Thats what turned me to fishing:dupe:

Thats good, that would have sucked bad.... ODNR are diks sometimes like that, goota love having a go fast boat!

Ran the boat on one of the calmest days I have ever seen Lake Erie.

Boat Ran Awesome.

Did not go over 4200 rpm but hit 84 mph and that felt great. It was good to be behind the wheel again. A simple shake down run made all the time and money spent worth it.

We found out when we had the Apache in the water the first hour we brought her home and the Coast Guard safety checked us, that any boat over 40' must have a navagational chart book on board. Never knew that.

Congrats!

You going to be around there tomorrow?

You can't get a ride yet this season! You're boat needs to be finsihed first. Quit messing around and get moving.

I am dropping mine off to get the bow gel coated in the AM... the rest of the day is fair game! I will be cleaning at the trailer tomorrow in marblehead...

Running strong. No oil leaks but a couple water leaks and all in all it ran perfect.

-On my lift
-At A-dock on PIB
-Drinking a beer at the roundhouse
