My pup...

Glad to hear she is home and resting well, was she able to eat dinner with no problems, did the vet say not to go heavy on the food.

Donzi I have had a few major staircase scares with my Yorkies. The first time was in the junkie house we tore down to build this one. The house had an old, open step, 3 floor spiral staircase. The dogs normally would not use the staircase on their own. One day they were on the upper level with me, my mom came for a visit and they both went tearing down the stairs to greet her, Murphy missed a step halfway down from the top floor and fell the rest of the way through the center of the staircase to the tiled basement floor. It was awful, she lay there dazed and twitching like she was having a seizure after about 30 seconds she started to whimper, I tried to comfort her without moving her. Then after a few moments she was able to walk, honestly it was like a miracle. We still wonder how she was able to survive a fall like that. Last year Kirby was upstairs with me and a friend came by and opened the front door, he came racing out of the bedroom and went charging down the wood stairs, after about the third step he lost it and tumbled all the way to the foyer, I was at the top and my girlfriend at the bottom both just frozen and helpless, he was dazed & had a small concussion but also walked away, sometimes these animals just amaze me.
