Most people know these in "Armada", "Reindl", and now "Vector" trim, but this is the real-deal, before-the-Yankees-made-them, I-got-mine-in-1997, Swedish-built Mannerfelt B-28. It's been pointed at and chuckled at on the trailer and at the dock, but never after having been encountered on the water. :driving:

'77 Switzer
So fun, got to take it out like you see it a few times before the ice!
Yeah, what a blast to drive, suicide rear seats hold on to your hat!
I had a Switzer just like that. Had a 235 Johnson on a jackplate. I think it had a 34 pitch prop. It was almost impossible to get on plane. Once you had it up, it would run about 30 at idle- no noise from the engine and all you heard was wind rush. When you stopmed on the gas, it went from 30 to about 475mph in two seconds, with some of the most violent chine walking that anyone ever survived. (obvious exaggeration)
I ran it 4 or 5 times before getting wise and selling it to two yuppie kids that wanted a ski boat.

That's so great, and true, this is a Stock 175 with a 24 Raker for now
The thing is actually really stable until it's in any cross chop, then it feels like it's about to send you on the ride of your life. The thing jumps out of the hole right now and is gone, fun to run figure 8's on the bouys, you can get it to slide sideways, there is no keel or V to the hull. There are 2 scoops under there that pack air once on plane and then the sides/chines are what stay in the water. The transom resembles the batman symbol.
Your post just made me laugh! I know what you mean~
