My First Helo Shoot - FMO 3rd Annual Turkey Run

Finally got into a chopper to shoot some boats yesterday. :seeya:

Had a great time, to say the least.
As usual, there was plenty of impressive hardware on display. We ran from Sanibel Bridge to South Seas Resort on Captiva...
the water was a little bumpy and I got some good shots of the group that ran outside. (most ran the intracoastal route)

Hard to believe I was in FL for lunch and back in ON shoveling snow by dinner.

Dan D is the new owner of the boat. It was Predator/Plantation in former lives. Paint upgrade by Mitcher T.

Thanks... I was pinned in the back seat of the R44 pretty good. Seat belt was maxed out around the lifevest and my big azz. I stayed in anyway... every time I would try to lean out the wind would hit the lens and shake the chit out of the camera... big no-no in my world.
