My Favourite movies...

It's amazing how many of Clint Eastwoods are among my favorites, just watched
ElCamino for the first time last night, that movie was not what I expected, I loved
it but wound up crying at the end.

Come on you can't be from Michigan and not know the difference between an El Camino and a Gran Torino! :sifone:

Ferris Bueller
Tommy Boy
Lone Wolf Mcquade
Fletch
Cool Hand Luke
Bullitt
Forrest Gump
Falling Down
Good Fellas
Heat
Scent of a Woman
Unforgiven

......just to name a few....can usually repeat lines from any scene/movie listed.

Stripes
Caddyshack
M*A*S*H
Animal House
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Blues Brothers

He done good, didn't Fred.

AAAHHH That/Those but the Actually BEST Car Chase movies are all B-Movies.

Two Lane Blacktop 1971
Vanishing Point 1971 & 1996.
Gone in 60 Seconds 1974
Dirty Mary Crazy Larry 1974
LeMans 1971

Then comes the main stream movies like the one above Bullit,
American Graffiti and More American Graffiti et al.

( Yes I have all these on DVD or VCR tape ;) )

My mom hates Clint Eastwood because when we were kids, dad took her to see the Good the Bad, and the Ugly on their anneversary. She still gripes about it. Dad didn't do much better this year, he took her to see the movie about Ungrateful Bastards or something. Mom said it was way bloodier than any Clint movie she ever saw.

whatta Dad you got :sifone:

Another one of my favorites is an Officer and a Gentleman. My sister went with mom to see that one. In one steamy scene (by then standards), my mom leaned over and told my sister, "I'd hate to iron his whites". :) Only mom!:26:

now I understand your DAD a LOT BETTER... a Soulmate :26:

Loved Ronin.
Godfather 1 and 2
Goodfellas
Princess Bride
Pulp Fiction
Tombstone

Ronin has that dark sinister tone to it that goes great with DeNiro but Jean Reno is the true cold blooded one even on that movie.

Another good one from Jean Reno is Léon-the Professional.
also one not to forget...
Rutger Hauer in Bladerunner and Hitcher 1986....
And after all gotta give Arnold his chance in T2-Judgement Day.

I could give a tall list of Mob Movies as I´m a big fan of them but the essential ones already got covered exept maybe True Lies and Mystic River by Sean Penn.

Alot of good ones ones already mentioned.

Two that I find myself watching all the time.

Shawshank Redemption
Willy Wonka (the original)

Yeah I know, strange choices.
The Jerk
The big dirty (TPB)

Dad and mom were here a couple weeks ago. Mom was behind us in the kitchen telling us what to do. I told my dad, "I don't remember mom being the boss of this family". Dad said, "Your memory isn't very good is it?". :)

They have been married 58 years.
