I think that I need to prove who I am to get a driver's license and that an investigation will commence upon report of unauthorized charges. Just wanted to get that out there.
Or to rent a car - otherwise 15 yr olds would be doing it.

The thing is, I rarely use credit for anything.
I like paying in CASH for everything.
It's just my opinion, but I think this whole credit score thing is going to soon crash just the same as the financial systems and the DOW.
Speculation on my part.

I have one card and one card only. I also have one for the company. I hardly ever use the personal one never more than 200.00 at a time. I tried to pay my bill last month and they wouldn't let me (on line) so I called and they told me its was on a hold pending investagation. I asked what that was all about and they told me it was used for a phone chat line and there was a 380.00 charge on it for that. I said well it wasn't me and they said, we didn't think so thats why we put a stop usage hold on it. The next week I got a new card and number and that was that over and done. I called them back and thanked them and told them it was nice to find that there is still some trust and integrity in the credit bis these days. Tim I hope it all works out for ya.

I'm gonna nominate this. You're only a tool 99% of the time and this 1% might be a payoff. Make up for those other sucking limitations. :sifone:

Ya thats B.S. I tried that for a while when I was doing training for Matco Tools. I payed for cars hotels food or anything esle while traveling. When the bill got to $4500.00 and they wanted me to go to Fla to train a new guy I said not untill you pay for the bill I have now. They called me back an hour later and said it was there policy to pay expences monthly I said ok its been well over a month pay it. They called back an hour later said the ck was in the mail but they no longer needed my services and my personal money problems weren't there concen. I said ok when I get the ck I will send back your laptop and all books and softwear. They called back an hour later and said they wouldn't send the ck untill they got there stuff back. Anyway that went on and on and it did get sloved BUT the lesson learned was never ever spend your money or credit for someone else's company I don't care how big they are. If they want you traveling then they pay....................................

Yep, working for a multi-million Co. and they expect me to float $5K in travel - not gonna happen.
I don't have to travel that often, but I'm still waiting on a 3 mos. old expense check for 250 bucks.
It ain't gonna break the bank for me, but I've wasted more hours trying to get re-paid than what they actually owe me.

You said you were arguing over billing like they should give it back but THEY didnt jack your card ... its just where it was used. You're smart ... you know to file a claim with the credit card company. When my daughters card got lifted when she first went to school, it never occurred to me to call Target and tell them to give it back ..... Just sayin ....

I have been known to take complete strangers out on my boat to the harbor light on Erie just to watch a sunset.
Surprising how many people have never actually watched a sunset.
My wife never sat and watched one until I showed it to her.
