We had a few 360's on Chrysler stern drives and one old 440 on a sternpower drive back at the Marina were I worked in OZ in the 80's

There´s a Velocity with a 528 Hemi overhere...
And yes all US V8´s has been used as marine engines. Even Nailhead Buicks and 390 Cadillacs.
But Mopar gotta be the only US automaker doing boat engines out of their own stuff.

In OZ in the 70's
GM also marketed their ozzie 5.0Ltr V8 engine marinised in shaft drive version.
Aluminium timing case, water pump, inlet and exhaust manifolds...meant for fresh water only.
Only V8 ever built with right bank forward for right hand drive steering box clearance, as far as I know?

Mopar has a 528 crate Hemi, in fact they make them bigger than that.... problem was for awhile Cummins was doing the assembly work for Mopar and forgot a few things along the way...

My family had 3 Chrysler car dealerships and one sold Chrysler Boats and Chrysler Outboards. I remember the Chrysler Conquerer SIII's (18') which were a pretty sharp boat for their day having the 340 Super Bee III mated to a Chrysler branded Jet Drive and to Volvo 270 outdrives. My Dad's demo one year was a 340 with the jet drive. Neat boat for the time it was!!!

..yeah, from what I'm told, car was built for my uncle while he was in Vietnam (101st Airborne)..he raced it for $$ in Newark, Asbury Park NJ, beaten only once by a 442 Olds..took revenge the following wknd..lol. Pretty sure it's the model you're thinking-of..
