SW MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) – Miami-Dade Police and a Southwest Miami-Dade family are searching for a 17 year old girl, missing since Monday, believed to be with her adult boyfriend.

Nicole Dones left her home before dawn Monday, police said, carrying a few bags with personal belongings. They believe she is with her 18-year-old boyfriend, Jackson Wayne Powell, who is also missing

The investigator from the Miami-Dade Domestic Crimes Bureau said the missing teen was last seen wearing grey sweat pants, and is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 120 pounds.

Police are asking anyone who sees her to contact the department’s Missing Person office.

The "teen" is 17. The "adult boyfriend" is 18.

They were found this week, and assumed to be going steady.

The "adult boyfriend" was arrested for shoplifting on April 25, fined and released.

There have been no charged filed in the "kidnapping" case.

It was unknown at press time whether they missed prom.
