Midnight Express help?

I have seen a midnight express for sale over here (England) and would like some help if anyone is familiar with them?

It is around 39' or 40' and has surface drives. The owner claims it is a mid eighties boat and has two small diesels in it for slow river use.

My questions are what sort of drives would they be and what sort of power would the boat have had originally, and what sort of performance would it have had.

Any information at all would be gratefully received!

Thank you - do you know what engine packages would have been paired with Arnesons and the performance? A wild guess would be better than the information I have!

If it is an old midnight express from the 80's it is 37.5 feet they lengthened a Cigarette 36 , Call Marine Machine and ask Byng about the boat he should know!

They had a large boat Mold there I think a couple were built it had like a 14'Beam and was around 50 feet in length if memory serves!
