looks like fair weather this weekend for a change. anyone going to be around grand haven? sheri and i are going out one of the days?? gh to dockers for lunch then down to port sheldon if the sun is out to relax. then back to gh. man i'm do for a run. truck is packed and i'm off in 10 min. sheri is already there. she said it is a great afternoon. hope to see you on the water.

I would give them a call to see if there are any slips left. I can't remember the marina that we are staying at but it is on the south side of the river. The closest one to the lake I think the other side might have slips left???? Not sure about the beaching either.

Hope you guys make it down should be a great time. We have at least 10 boats coming between us and the michigan division of Bad Influence.

We're going to be at South Haven Municipal Marina...it's all the way down by the pierhead on the south side of the Black River. There is potentially slip availability on the north side, but it's an easy walk to the bars either way. At least one of our guys is on the north side due to late registration. If you want, you COULD just pull your boat at night and leave it in the parking lot by the ramp...it's HUGE.

I will try to talk the wife into it. Even if I am on one it gives us a place to sleep. She is kinda dead set on the spring lake heritage festival because they have good bands, fireworks, and a BEER tent.

this just in. from the south haven post. due to a shortage of alcohol. due to bad influence racing and the chicago crew last year. they have been asked not to come back. lol . sheri and i where going to come down saturday for the day, but the weather is not looking to good. she is a warm weather boater. and sunday being fathers day i don't think my 72 year old dad is up to that ride. you guys have fun.

Just got that phone from the mayor as well, I would have thought they appreciated all the money we donated to the bars last year. Its only tuesday the weather will change 10 times before the weekend
