Hey Dare ScarabKV!
I bought the boat from a guy who is painting the new arch for Sebastion. He was here matching paint and said he had a boat done without an engine and never ran. I asked how much? he said $50 bucks. I gave him $75 All stripes are painted and cleared over and NICE. I added the small chrome parts and logos with the macheeeen!

How did you get the MV colors on the Shockwave kit?

For the group..... if you google "Shockwave 55" " you will find a ready to run 55 inch model that almost looks like a flat deck Scarab, complete with radio and gas engine for $1000.00

Come on Jim-tell us how you got one in vice colors?

The Shockwave has been custom painted via automotive paint and clear coated. small decals and chrome vents are things I added. Check ebay, they often offer incomplete models for around $150.00 I paid $75.00 for this one as it is.

That's the Monogram Scarab KV kit from the 80s. They just reissued it for release in May. I have a case coming for our store. $20 plus shipping for SOS members.
