They have CCTV at the Convention Center outside, but good luck. It's there, but they refused to give me the footage from all our theft last year.
The cameras are mounted high on the building above the entrance by Hustler, etc....
Is there anything the promoters can do. You would think with Scotty's involvment and contributions to the offshore community, the promoter might want to get involved and go to bat with the CV for some cooperation and a look at the tapes. Just my .02
i don't understand why someone would not come fwd. you make a mistake, you own up to it, it will get fixed and not be a big deal. you don't own up to it, you get caught, you look like a huge ass. it sucks having your stuff messed up by someone, but if they come to you and tell you at least it shows they are responsible, and chances are the person will not be as mad.
When we were moving out forklifts were flying around like crazy! Wouldn't be surprised if that was what it was.
Good luck finding them. That is low to not admit that an accident happened.
I do agree about the security tapes - something a little fishy about that - bet you could get a warrant to review the tapes for a damage claim or something.
I would imagine the convention center is union. If they're anything like dealing with the azzholes from McCormick Place in Chicago....good luck. Those people think their little union puts them one level above god. If it was one of their fork drivers, it wasn't fear of his job that kept him from say'n anything....just flat out didn't give a chit. Don't mean to sound negative, but I've hauled for trade shows into alot of different convention centers and most were a living nightmare.
Because most of the camaras don't work. And they don't want you to know this. They don't mind firing thieves. Unfortunely it's the decorators that do most of the stealing because they throw the stuff in the crates they are packing and get it out after it's off property. Not only do they have in house security, but also contract security. Make a claim or complain to the show manager and they will pay or discount the booth rental. Good luck Scott.

McCormick just did a show there and can't agree with you more. They think they can walk on water, Unions are great i'm in one but don't treat others with disrespect not cool!
About 2 1/2 years ago i got a job working for a trade show company. They offed good pay and great hours any who to make a long story short after about 3months of working there I was sent to a show to the the company rep. well little did I know that they failed to promote the show so there was only a total of about 3 attendees. when I called the office for one of the vendors they would not talk to the vendor all they would say is tell them that we have over 1000 people that said they would come. after the show I found out the truth about the company and promptly quit and told them how I felt about them. sorry that got long but any who STAY AWAY FROM TRADE SHOW COMPANYS or at lest small ones.
There is red or orange paint transfer. Maybe the height of a truck mirror. They even knew how to raise the tilt trailer 6-8 in. They knew what they did.
