No....the first production boat made by a new company in 1970 called Cigarette, was a center console 28 with twin 6 cylinder sterndrives.....the boat was bought by a guy called....Bush...HW.

I was telling Paul as we walked around the show, many years ago everyone flocked to the Cigarette booth .....because there were always really beautiful girls hanging around. As the company was sold to one new owner after another, a new thing was happening at the Cigarette booth......yes, there were still beautiful girls there.....but they were hired to be there. Big Difference!

Spectre Powerboats were at the show for the first time in awhile. They are getting ready to pull the first new hull from the mold and had purchased an existing boat for the show to get the word out they were back in business.

There were three girls at the Spectre booth in vinyl. On Thursday the sun was pretty hot. They had to be too. Pete got a good shot of two of them.

Ok...Im confused ..there was a spectre and a sonic...did sonic by spectre and spectre bought sonic?? Even trade?? Is it two seperate companies? Is it the same company and sonics are made on even days and spectres on odd days?? This is what happens when you work graveyard shift... thiings get confusing and start running together.
