Join Chris-Craft for an exciting press conference at the Miami International Boat Show on Thursday February 12th, 2015 at 1:00pm. Last year at the show, we debuted the largest addition to the Chris-Craft Launch line-up, the Launch 36, Boating's 2014 Boat of the Year. This year, due to popular demand, we are debuting the Launch 36 with a triple outboard and hard-top configuration. The Launch 36 is primarily a large day boat, with overnight facilities, designed for having fun on the water, with a range of toys and water sports for family and friends. Join us as we receive the Boat of the Year award from Boating Magazine and see the new edition of the popular Launch 36.

Recently introduced at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the new flagship of the Catalina range, the Catalina 34, will also be on display at the Miami International Boat show. The combination of power, innovation, and Chris-Craft styling in the new Catalina 34 will make this boat a one of a kind on the water.
For the first time since the 80's, Chris-Craft will be introducing an inboard sportboat to the lineup. The Capri 21, the boat that embraces design cues from the brand's original DNA and harks back to the Chris-Craft vertical bow models of the 1930's, will be an inboard v-drive powered by Ilmor.

Mystic Center Console To Reveal At 2015 Miami Boat Show
John Cosker Releases M3900 Mystic Center Console Debut Date

M3900 On Trailer (10-14-14)

Deland, Fla (October 21, 2014) — The initial ideation of, what would become, the M3900 was sparked between John Cosker and Scott Sjogren during the 2014 Miami Boat Show, and now, nearly 9 months later, the date has been set for the official unveiling of the highly anticipated Mystic center console.

While this is the first uniquely designed center console from industry powerhouse, Mystic Powerboats, John Cosker is no novice to the boat style. In fact, Cosker has participated in the design of 15-20 center consoles. It is with a culmination of nearly 25 years of experience in designing boats that Cosker has honed in on exceeding the needs and expectations of the current market, and has also fallen in love with this sector of the boating industry.

Center consoles were averaging low cruising speeds and those transitioning from catamarans to v-hulls consequently experienced an often difficult transition from the previous 100MPH+ lifestyle. What were previously day trips have lengthened to weekend trips, simply by the speed constrictions of the boat. No longer sacrificing speed for safety and practicality, center consoles have quickly transformed from traditional fishing boats and runabouts into poker runs and high performance boating, and Mystic Powerboats is meeting the needs of a widening boating industry and the demand of boating enthusiasts.

Cosker comments, “The first generation of performance boaters have shifted in focus when it comes to demand from boating manufacturers. Over the last 4-5 years, new boat construction and general interest trends have followed the economy, and the boating lifestyle has been altered because of it. Now, there is a higher demand for not only sport boats that carry higher cruising speeds, but models that offer safety and luxury, and are family-friendly as well.”

“I’m really impressed with how efficiently we can rig center consoles, their reliability, and the stability at high speeds,” said Cosker in regards to the new M3900 Mystic center console. “The boat runs fantastically. It’s reliable and effortless at 75+ MPH.”

M3900 Shell Red A (10-11-14)After a short 6 months, the M3900 went from an idea to a running prototype, and Mystic Powerboats is proud to bring to market a boat that both fulfills the needs of thrill-seekers, and provides the comfort and safety that everyone desires in a v-hull. Pier 57 will be our dealer for the Mystic Product Line, as Cosker references his partnership with Sjogren in high regard, noting his wealth of knowledge of the market and valuable experience as the biggest High Performance Powerboat dealer in the US. Even from the initial conversations when Cosker questioned the demand for the “next new thing,”—being the center console—Sjogren assured Cosker that the movement was just getting started.

Mystic Powerboats has record-breaking history in the catamaran production, and will never abandon that sector of the boating industry. The current projection integrates more semi-production format with the 39’ v-hull and 40’ cat, both engineered to be built quickly, and future plans also include an even bigger v-hull.
