had 8th row for Metalica last night (a birthday gift from my buds)

WOW what a show, if you have the oportunity to go see em, do it, they rocked the house

I only wish they would have played fuel

they closed with Seak and Destroy - rocked the roof off - at the start of the song they droped down 100-150 4' black beach balls that said Metalica on them, they got bounced all over

I wonder if anyone found the ball with the backstage passes in it ? :sifone:

I worked as a barricade supervisor at concerts for about ten years and am still down about thirty percent in my left ear from their show at Pine Knob in Michigan, I still maintain the hearing loss was worth it Master of Puppets was awesome live.

Ted Nugent knocked my hearing down a bit in one of the ballrooms at Trumps Marina. It was ok until my ears were crackling. His goal was to try to get the people on the casino floor to hear him. I'm not sure if he succeeded though.

They really know how to sound proof a room these days !

Early Metallica brings back great memories...Not sure if this is a good idea, but here goes...Here's how old I am:sifone:

James and Lars a long time ago...

That's fvcking awesome man! I can't wait to see them when they come to town. Their new album is my favorite of this year. It friggin rocks. It's totally old school Metallica. I love it!

One!

Had fun at a bud's party. All his wife's snobby friends were there, and he had the music turned down with some **** playing. I dropped in the cd and cranked it.

Of course everyone was just looking at each other when the song got rolling and his Cerwin Vega's were pounding...

I saw them at MSG in NY when they first started the stunt show!! WOW what a show. I think I still wake up in the middle of the night twitching to it!
