The old school strong arm approach will not work in this economy. I bet when things pick up you will hear about Merc building a new state of the art union free manufacturing facility either in Mexico (but I don't think so) or some where in the southern United States.

I bet money, behind the scenes (Union) the talk is they will work for the two to three year phase out and before that happens the economy will be booming and they don't really have to worry. Just keep all their wages and bennies in the meantime.

Very true and since it's a 2-3 yr phase out of FDL I wouldn't get so excited in Oklahoma just yet because the way the boating market is going that might just happen sooner than later...
