Here is one his CFL frames I have . Up in the attic now but I have all the stuff for the roller, Gonna run a springer instead of the hyd, forks. Bent the crank in my R King so this is on hold a bit longer.
Been out of the loop here for awhile, been obsessing on this third gen.....had an 87 for yrs, loved it, fell into disrepair after my divorce.....been staring at it for years in the shop..... the more I looked at it the more work I saw that needed to be done......then I ran across this car on Kijij.....picked it up off a 23 yr old guy who just had a kid.....$3500.....needed an o2 sensor to pass e test and thats it....Im rollin'..... counted up 8 to 10 Gs in motor/paint/brakes blah blah blah for the old one.....this has the 230 hp305 tpi 5 spd 4 whl disc....buffed the chit out of the paint for prob 10hrs.....put new tires and slotted rotors all the way around as well as my mint rims from the other Iroc.....got like 5Gs in the car now......sold the old car for $1200 to a guy who's going to put a 350 LT1 and 6 spd in it
kept diggin' on the car to make the last track day of the year at Mosport last Wed.....I was in the slow group (where I belonged)....the red Vette in the pics and a black Porsche Cayman and I were the fastest in the group, we were actually very even.....I was VERY rusty and havnt been on that track since running the Superbike in '89 but by the end of the day managed to put the hurt on another Vette two more Cayman's a Boxster, some new BMW 5 series 4 door,a new CooperS and some other stuff....not bad for 5Gs!
Changed the grille, added billet inserts and side vent billet inserts, Crome ford running boards, smoked cab lights, bed lights, and Mirrior lights. Also added a K&N intake, Spartan 275 hp tune, and remover the exhaust filter. It runs now!!!!

STRONGLY suggest you remove the K&N intake and filter. Do some reading on www.thedieselstop.com and you find that K&N systems are detrimental to PSD healthy lives.
I recommend the True Flow foam system on my truck, but it appears that they are no longer available. Second to that would be the AFE Ford intake system.
