Maryland Indoor Boat Storage

Anyone know of any?

http://www.tomeslandingmarina.com/

They do and that is where I bought my boat but since they are 1+ hours each way not very practical if some thing comparable is closer. I'm 20 miles south of DC if that helps.

I want to clean my boat up real good, replace some lights (plastic white is now cream), replace my GPS and a few other things over the Winter.

I'm a loser with only putting about 5 hours on my boat this year vs the 50ish normally...

All I can add is that Tome's is my home marina and they are good people. Can't do anything about the location, though...

5 Hours?? What's up with that?
You going to KW?

I know- boat lift queen! Worst part is most of that time was just going for a quick spin before/after putting her on the trailer to get detailed.

KW- not in the cards this year either. A decade of drunkeness has come to an end.

The good thing is it is strictly a time issue; not a money issue so I should be back in full play time mode for 2010! I can' wait!!

Moffit built a biggggggggg garage.

I'm trying... I just talked with him last night- he was on his way to Annapolis for dinner- on a Thursday! I think he did that just to give me an idea how much this storage is really going to cost me!

RV Resort shrink wrapped is an option but the parking lot is full down there. What is it with people from Port Tobacco owning 2 if not 3 boats?

5 hrs! If that's all you boat a year...it would be cheaper and less headache to just rent one a couple of times you go out

I hear ya! I spent more on detailing than fuel this year.

I average about 50 hours a year. 50 hours running time for me means being out on the water at least one whole day every weekend from April til October. My average run is only about 15 miles one way with some screwing off in the middle so I'm happy with 50 hours; but a 10th of that plain out sucks!

I bought/built a new house so 4 months of my Summer were spent screwing around with that and moving. Hoping to run 100 hours next year to play catch up!

Leaning towards shrink wrapping it and just pulling it out early next year to do the GPS and stuff. Now that I think about it- GPS should be cheaper or a better one for less bucks waiting til then anyway...

2 boats and 2 ski's

In case anyone is interested...

The old Newburg Fire Deptartment building is for rent. $350 per bay or $1400 for all 4 bays. Little steep for my blood but if anyone is interested I can get the guys number for you. Guy said he was looking for boaters or RV'ers to park in there but at those prices I can see it being empty until about 2019.

$50/month in the boatel at Port Tobacco but I wouldn't trust those clowns with my prop wrench.

At least I put 20 hours on mine this year. And the last one was just me trying to burn off some gas before winterizing. Not sure exactly why so little. But have been thinking about a change...as you know. Sure you don't want to consider a trade? :willy_nilly:
