Lunar Eclipse Tonight

Two hours and 47 minutes away......not going to make it, I saw it in 2004 while I was in Connecticut, 13 degrees outside..........I watched for about three minutes...it turned red as hell...it was cool......but I have to get up early in the morning and do nothing.

Stayed up to see it, sky wasn't too bad. Light brownish color was slightly visible. Weather.com said the next one on the winter solstice would not occur again till 2094

I heard the next one, not on the solstice, is 2014. As long as we all survive whatever happens on 12/21/2012, LOL!

How come this time it took 372 years for there to be a lunar eclipse on Dec 21, (1638 was the last one) but Weather.com said that the next one is in only 84 years? Are orbits changing that quickly? Am I missing something?
