I was...up until July. I saw a best of 72.6mph on gps with 2 people and 1/3 fuel. However, I was getting some water in the outdrive and finally found out where. Two small holes in the bellows. When I pulled the drive I also noticed that the lower swivel bearing had some play. I was in the process of removing the gimbal ring when I put my back out for 2 weeks. That and a combo of bad weather have kept me from finishing the work.
The boat is going into the shop to finish the job and hope to be back out for the long weekend (I can't wait).
I love the boat but would like to get something bigger.

Your telling me! The bellows looked like new. I was surprised to find the holes.

I think the yellow 28 in MD would be the right project.
Needs some updating.
Got the 3s, so putting down big HP should be no problem.
Check w/ MDGperformance... he knows the boat. May know how to put you in touch w/ owner.
