Liberal Gun Control Advocate in a little trouble

This will be an interesting case of the Castle Doctrine in North Carolina.

the shooter is only justified if the assailant broke into the home or attempted to commit some other property crime such as arson, and simple trespass is neither.

"Assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury is a Class E Felony in North Carolina and punishable by 15 to 31 months in prison."

Not that this case is in question, cause we don't know what happened, just reading the letter of the law. "class E felony"
So you can basically blow someones leg off and get 15 to 31 months in prison. Remind me NOT to piss anyone off in NC.
