There are two ramps right by the dam in Loudon. I put my 38 in there and that is where everyone launches for the poker run.

How far is the cruise from the dam to "downtown" Knoxville?

30-35 miles. Nice ride going up the river. The homes along the river are beautiful. I wish I would have brought my 2nd home there instead of Florida. the weather in that area lets you boat about 8 months of the year. the big events are the raftups on the river at Calhouns for thew football games.

tie your boat up at the end of the houseboat raft up and you will not be able to get up off the deck to make it to the game by the time you reach land
