Key West resorts?

I need some good names of places to stay in KW.... I will be with the pregnant fiance so all the places i am used to staying at will not work. Some sort of semi fancy hotel with a pool and beach would work great for her, and close to duval would suit me...

The southernmost is very nice and inexpensive compared to Downtown there Jr. I have also stayed many many time at the Cuban Club and an upstairs downstairs suite is only like $250.00 a night and is in walking distance or a $5.00 cab to all the bars

Casa Marina-- my favourite.

It's tough to call anything in Key West a beach. Some of the places have a small patch of sand in front of them. Smathers is not bad but you have to cross the road to get to it. The beach in Zachary Taylor is nice but primitive.

the westin, stayed there for the poker run, close to everything.

Westin is a good choice. We have a timeshare at The Galleon and it is a nice place with pool, beach and walking distance to Duval...would fit your needs nicely I think, just not sure about the rates.

Stay right on Duval- that way when she b1tches about the noise you can say you are going down to tell them to keep it down.

When you show up 9 hours later you can tell her there were a lot of them to tell hush up to..
