Junk of the week thread

Gotta love the appropriate surroundings, $50 No Littering sign, boat being tied off to the telephone pole for fear of high tide, etc.

My father-in-law donated a boat (28' pig of some sh*t pile sort) to one of those pseudo religious organizations (boat angels maybe)... He got a call about 3 months later from San Diego PD. The boat was sitting out on the street in SD. No trailer. Thank you, Boat Angels! :sifone:

I don't know why this didn't occur to me... I'll have one for you this weekend. "Hawk" Top Gun... Late 80s, early 90s, with speedy #3s on it. Sitting in a two yard near my house uncovered... always uncovered... Not the worst, but clearly junk or treated as such at this point...

Here you go...this thing has been sitting there for along time...just outside of LOTO on 54;
I always wondered what the hell that boat was. IT has been sitting there for at least 10 years, maybe longer. My perception of time is getting worse as I get older. :26:

Saw this driving around Jersey on mother's day. Appears to be a moppie 28?

...but then there's this shot.

Maybe Brownie can comment. If you ask Ross, he invented all of them.

WOW! Geez, if you're gonna sell the trailer, throw the boat in for free instead of have it sit on teh ground. Some people are real smart...

Well, they must have raised the outdrive before they tied it to a tree and pulled the trailer out from under it. Otherwise it would be more embeddded in the ground that that. :D

I actually did that last summer. Bought a Whaler trailer from a buddy, it had a junk Thompson on it, tied it to a tree and yanked the trailer right out from under it.
