I have to agree with Stewart on this one. These birther people and politicians are nuts. And CNN is just plain stupid, but that's not news to anyone really.

I couldn't agree more, do they really believe that this unsubstantiated mud slinging is doing anything positive for the future of the party

No need to worry about the Republicans, they have all the help they need. O's numbers are falling like a stone and the Dems in Congress are being blocked by their own members. These fringe groups only get airtime because the press likes to show how dumb the other side is. And the Dems are showing how dumb they are just by being.....

I agree. The Dems are famous for "snatching defeat fromt he jaws of victory." If the Reps hadn't self-imploded, Dems would still be losing elections. And the Reps are learning now how dangerous it was to hitch their wagon to the McVeigh/Oswald lunatic fringe. Now they have the wack-jobs taking over the townhall meetings and making the politicians look like a laughing stock. i don't know when we'll get good leadership again, but I'm not puttin gmuch hope on either party right now.
