I recently purchased a Cigarette 35 and got in touch with Jeff about hauling it to Washington State. I just wanted to give praise where it is deserved, He is extremely helpful and did an excellent job, I would highly recommend him and his service. He is a man of his word. It ran once before sticking #7 intake valve, etc. The short block is unhurt.
The heads are off now getting completely redone and fully ported.
Should run real well when done; yes, it ran very well before it broke.

NOW you tell me

The trunion broke on the exhaust and the keeper/retainer came apart on the intake; don't know why really...it was running only 3000 RPM at the time. Guess that is a good thing really.

Get a JESEL or T&D Valve train ,,,u be fine then !!!!!

Jesel valvetrain for 1 motor ( 2 heads ) = ~2000 , STANDS ,ROCKERS and bolts/studs !!!!!!

Mine lasted over 10 years and broke 1 due to an lifter issue, got all new again now.

The only thing diffrent on the T&D are the oiler holes in the rockers.

JESEL IS THE WAY TO GO , in my book........................if i could only keep my bottom end in it together ...:ack2:
