<This guy who paid for his own college by climbing telephone poles thinks they should pay for their own college too. There were no scholarships for me. It took me 12 years in total, working full time the whole time until the final year. No financial aid. I borrowed $5,500 the last year and paid it back. There was no forgiveness of this debt.
My annual salary with my degree is more than five times the total cost of my education. Don't go to Yale for a social work degree and then cry that you can't pay it back.
Also... everybody doesn't need to go to college. Some people are better off in trade school, etc.
