It's 2025, (no longer 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024)

I decided building another wall really is a stupid idea.
What would be better is landmines and forward operations bases.

Also decided California is free to leave but we retain all military bases. We have military bases in foreign countries like California all the time.
Remove the wall between California and Mexico. They all speak the same language, I think.
Put interlocking fire along the Colorado River and call it a day. Imagine how much nicer Lake Havasu would be. Ramps would be much less busy, and you could also buy stuff at the duty free shop.

Because I am such a nerd, I was doing comparative analysis between the units of currency of various countries over a period of time. Peso vs Dollar, Dollar vs. Ruble, $CA vs the Peso, Dollar vs. Yuan, etc last night. It was interesting. It looks like Mexico has already paid for the wall. Then I looked at their economy from the side of their published financials. By far, the biggest revenue source for Mexico is the black market remittances that come from the US every month. It's bigger than their entire oil industry. It was tens of billions in less than a year period last year.

That's his garrote. Strangle the cash exportation, and Mexico dies.

When I followed the money, I started to wonder if Canada and the US are considering throwing Mexico to the wolves to their south no matter what happens. The wall isn't to keep immigrants out. It is to cast Mexico out of the North American kingdom. Just thoughts. I'm not saying that's right or wrong.

Yesterday, I realized there are Americans living between the current wall and the actual border. There is even an operating golf course on the Mexican side of the wall, but in the US.

<<end nerd>>

I think it's a negotiating tool to help get the US, Canada, and Mexico working together on the problems with drugs, sex slaves, and Central American illegals to stop using Mexico as a unencumbered freeway to the US, Canada and their markets.

Fed Ex has no plans to fire the armed forces Veteran employee who saved the burning flags by physically rescuing them from the hippies using all means necessary, including his Fed Ex fire extinguisher, outnumbered and on the clock. :USA:

It was a lawful order. She just didn't like it.
There's an oath for these situations.

I think he is taking a risky move, but I think the damage already done by decades of beta leadership has eroded the image of the American to a weak, compromised, PC nancy. Our friends around the world will take your tourist money and maybe your kidneys while you sleep. It is time for America First for a while. It is not like the international community started thinking they were holier than us years ago. Oh, wait.

Besides, isn't this temporary to create a safe environment to evaluate the situation and make more permanent changes, tightening some areas and perhaps reducing restrictions in others?

And why are they calling the people who weren't allowed to fly "detained?" It makes it sound like they are under arrest or something. How about "delayed?"

I understand green card holders initially included in the freeze have been allowed in.

I had no idea there was such a hierarchy of concern for immigrants until I watched the liberals, progressives, and opportunistic low risk social media martyrs cast any thought of Mexico aside this week in favor of edgier, even more foreign, foreigners.
