I'm not sure who's idea it was, but one minute we're in the Tiki Bar and the next we're walking arlong charter boat row. That next day, we went on an evening shark fishing trip. Me, Old School and Tommy Gun, plus his all-girl crew. It was a hoot.

Tommy hooked up right away.

Nice fish (OK Craig, nice mammal)

Then the master stepped up and showed us how it's done...

So we head out of the marina and out through the channel. We then ran out for quite some time- almost 100 feet before we dropped anchor. We couldn't help but notice that we could spit to where everyone rafts up on the sandbar at Holiday Isle  Raft-ups and sharks. Nice.

After sitting for a couple quiet hours, I hooked up right at sunset. I got it in 3 different times and each time the SOB stripped the line back off the reel. I finally got him to the boat and after pulling him out from under it a couple tines, we got the leader. Just then the hook broke. But I got my souvenir!

Hmm.. I was jusr diving there about 2 weeks ago. It's good thing I'm skinny, shark don't like skinny things. :sifone:

We go out to Anclote island all the time and often we tube or ski a bit. From the island there are a few who fish and catch 3 -4- 5 ' hammer heads.

And we ski??? HMmm. I have to re-think my activities.

Ok, so here's a question... WTF do you do when you get a big azz great white or thresher on the line????

My buddies are big offshore enthusiasts and they want me to come on an overnight trip next summer out to the canyon.... They mentioned something about "shot guns".... :26:

Smoke hangin' out his mouth, and not putting the beer down while fishing...
Me and Craig would get along just fine:sifone:
