Is it a waste of money?

My OSO membership lapsed a few months ago. I've hesitated to renew since I rarely visit the site. Without starting any nonsense, I want to guage how many people still visit that site. I noticed some dual post on both.

Do you feel there's much more going on at OSO in the form if information flow since they have many more members?

You can still access the site and look at pics but no uncensored/bilge section. They have restored the PM function recently for registered members.

The two sites have much of the same info/threads/pics. I have really only posted new threads here in 2009.

For what it's worth, I have 3 posts there in 2009 and none since March. I stopped checking-in over there after my lifetime VIP membership expired. My friends and family are over here. And that's all I have to say about that.

Just start em all over again Rich. Many have never read some of the OLD stuff you posted back nearly a decade ago.

Start new "history of" threads and they will be read. Bet on it.

I haven't renewed over there in a year or more. I still flip back and forth for the oldschool race stuff and the Pantera stuff. That's it though. If the rest of the Pantera guys and the european old school guys would come here, I wouldn't have much reason to double post.

I rarely go there, but would intemitantly lurk in the general and bilge. Not being a paid member locks off the bilge. But I'm not missing much.

My rule of thumb is that I will START a new thread over here and will Reply over there while my membership is still active. After it expires, my traffic over to the other site will fall WAY off....

The bigger problem is how to move the "Schwartzcraft" and "Oklahoma-Quebec War" threads because they were all about the follow up posts...and on going "news flashes".

So far like this better, but I have only been here for a few days, Havent paid over there, but still visit quite a bit since most of the locals are still there.
