In need of help with shipping of 200lbs crate from IL to terminal in NJ or MD!

Because they're too damn expensive...

The sea freight I'm using is $160 per cubic metre. So the shipping within the US is about the same as from US to Sweden. :smash:

Sorry...I don't know much about the freight business....... should have left it to the experts.

If you have a connection on your end do what Rich says. Do not just use the website to get quotes, talk to someone at your local end. They will screw you if you do not. They will tack on loading fees, unloading fees, etc. Go to your closest UPS or Fed Ex site, get quotes in person for you picking up there, have the person on this end be capable of dropping it off at their terminal here, etc.

I just had a UPS delivery coming from PA dropped by over half by talking to a person instead of using their site.

That sounds ironic:rolleyes:

The international shipping can't be beat but maybe it's possible to get the domestic shipping a bit cheaper?!
