Must be something in the water lately. I noticed my BF has been taking cheap shots.

I hate cheap shots. His fat-ass girlfriend is a cheap shot taker and he's starting to be just like her. Did I say I hate cheap shots?

As everyone has said, it all depends on your particular situtation and your reaction to it.

In my case, if my best friend lied to me over a woman, I would call him out but get over it. Women are temporary. Best friends are (hopefully) forever.

However, if it was something more serious, you two need to talk about it and get through it. As others have said, a best friend is a rare thing.

If you two can get through this, your friendship may be even stronger.

Besides, now he owes you one!

There are lots of reasons someone might lie. You really have to look at it from the other person's perspective before making a judgement on it. Quite possibly that person could have lied to you thinking it was in your best interests. Even if it was a bad choice, I'd have to give a guy the benefit of the doubt if his heart was in the right place. If he stole from you, screwed your wife/daughter, etc., then it's cut & dried.
