I hate Deer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I got one with my Burb back in November. He jumped the guard rail and was still in the air when I hit him broadside. His head slmmed into the hood looking right at me. Thought for sure he was coming in the windshield but he spun around and ran on off across the road into the woods. Sure he didn't go too far. $2800 damage....

One of the guys that works for me had a cousin that was LD. He rode his moped to work. Had a night job and never showed up. They found him and the deer that ran into him dead on the road. I chit you not!!!

Took out an 8 pointer with the Z71 I had several years ago - $3,500 damage at 45 mph. If I were not driving a truck, it would have gone through the wind shield and killed me.

Took out a racoon with my BMW M3 last week - likely several hundred bucks. Took out a small cat at 85 with the same car 3 years ago - $400 cat!

Thats still cheaper than Gino's cat...and he didn't even run that one over...

I read that there are now more deer in the United states than at any other time. And because they allow taking down the big bucks and few does, the gene pool is getting dumbed downward. You know like just like the welfare system is doing to the human population.

That is correct, a doe born in the spring will get pregnant in the fall and have one fawn. Every year after that she will have two to three fawns. The expression "they **** like rabbits" comes to mind.:sifone:

It's so bad Maryland they require you to take a doe before you can take a buck.

I don't know about anymore, but in Oregon when I was there, to keep that from happening, you couldn't shoot anything more than a 8 point in several areas so the wise old bucks would continue to breed.

And many doe only hunts.

2112...this is not a poke at you, but at whatever/wherever you read that...and I am not disagreeing that the deer pop. is increasing.

These "at anytime in history" statements chap my hide!! we have had accurate deer censuses for how many years now?? vs. how many years have deer been running around this landscape we call the U.S.??

sorry..bad global warming flashbacks...we have accurate weather records for how many of the millions of years this planet has existed???
