I hate Deer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

only animal I have ever hit was a doberman, doing about 25.. spun the dog in the air..I stoped, as I was about to get out..he jumped up and came after the car... figured he was ok, put rather ****ed.. so I left befor I became puppychow...

I have a Friend who hit a deer at 120 on a street bike cut the deer in half.He was lucky only minor injury's
 
I drilled one at 75 mph up in MI, out in the boondocks on I-96 at 3 a.m. a couple years ago, never saw it till the airbag went off and threw my chew spitter all over the place. It was a Z71 too, like ChiefApache, and cost $7000 to fix plus a $500 tow bill to get it back to Toledo, and about a month w/o the truck. What a pain in the ass.

penis..... yup hit two this winter. Dodged one with my loaner car and totalled it.

No pics of the excursion collision or the totalled loaner car but here is the one week old dually collision :( 4K worth of damage.

Bad Winter.... more to the story.

Day before I traded in the Excursion on the dually I hit a deer. One week later I hit one with the new dually. While dually was in the shop getting fixed I dodged a deer with the loaner car and hit a tree and totalled it. My agent hates me.....
 
I know it's a natural reaction to swerve to avoid the deer but about 15 years a guy that lives near me tried to avoid a deer and hit a tree killing his 5 year old daughter. How'd you like to live with that? :(

That type of stuff happens all the time. My friends mom was driving and tried to swerve to avoid a bunch of ducks and ran into a tree. Shes now pretty much brain dead living in a hospital for the last couple years. Sad stuff.
 
I hit 3 at speed with my old K2500 on different occasions, first cracked a headlight, seccond just left a tuff of fur in the bump rail, third one I was in a hurry and nailed square in the bumper at 85, it bent my front bumper a little and demolished the grill. Donzigirl hit one in my F-350 on the freeway and put a slight dent in the bumper. I shaved Bambi's hind leggs one night at just a tad over 130 on a V rod at 2 A.M. I guess I am deer lucky.

Damn. I'd never drive again without the little deer whistlers if I were you.....

I don't know for sure. But, the last Trailblazer I bought had them hidden up under the airdam, and I never dodge deer anymore. I hardly ever see one unless we're driving the wife's car. So I think so. Either that or all the deer in West Michigan figured out I don't go off the road for nothing....:sifone:
 
If you live in Ohio, hitting a deer with a vehicle is inevitable. We have a 6 deer bag limit for over half of the state for a reason.

State Farm estimates that 1.5 million vehicles collide with deer every year, resulting in 150 motorists deaths and $1.1 billion in vehicle damages.

Ohio has gotta increase it's occurances to catch up to Michigan. They're just wannabes.....:sifone:

Deer are responsible for more deaths, injuries, and property damage than any other animal.
 
Took out an 8 pointer with the Z71 I had several years ago - $3,500 damage at 45 mph. If I were not driving a truck, it would have gone through the wind shield and killed me.

Took out a racoon with my BMW M3 last week - likely several hundred bucks. Took out a small cat at 85 with the same car 3 years ago - $400 cat!
