I don't need my half ton truck. I wonder what it's worth.

I might be interested in this vehicle, email me at xedmoc@mac.com or PM me.

Interested in the truck, or the malibooty?:)

Sorry, don't mean to be cracking jokes on your first post (Eric, welcome to Serious, by the way), but this thread was a hi-jack from the very first post.
Once you hang a round for a little while, you get to know the people pretty well.
Watch out for that Phragle guy...:seeya:
If you're looking for a truck, Fund (John) is a good and honest guy, you'll have no worries dealing with him.

those are hot up here in MI right now, esp if its a 4x4, they have been selling quick if they are nice and have low miles for the year, i would think 2500-3k easy or more if its real nice

The shocking thing is a bunch of male alpha powerboaters discussing quotes from Mr. Mom.... If it was MM, I could understand, but the rest of you????

I got a few inquiries about the truck. I appreciate that.
But seeing what it's worth (on paper) makes me think that I'll keep it as a back up for my daily driver and for a spare vehicle when people visit.
Besides, it sort of matches its big brother :D I guess the thing that would make me sell it would be running out of space when the boat comes home from winter storage.

because if the front shocks are wasted, a few good blips of the throttle it will start bouncing and eventually pull the front wheels off the ground. Any truck that can pull wheelies is one bad mofo and worth twice as much.....

On a serious note, what do the shock absorber's age/condition, have to do with such a large valuation difference of a truck?

Bad shocks have a ripple effect on other components, like brakes, tires and the rest of the suspension. When the shocks have been let go, often these other related areas need to be addressed as well. And that can add up when we are talking tires, brakes, etc.

(I sold the truck back in May to a good friend, just a general FYI.)
