To reiterat what Rob wrote- It was moderation, not moderators. The mods truly were left in the dark. They were some of the first people on board with the new project and did a huge amount of the heavy lifting that got this site up and running.

I won't even blame IB. They had no idea what they were buying. This truly is a unique community. Many of these people have known each other personally for years- or decades. That and this ain't exactly stamp collecting. It's a lifestyle and for many a very significant part of their lives. Where we keep in touch isn't just some casual interest for us, like so many of the othet IB-purchased community sites are.

Yea but you ever been inside a quickie mart within 20 miles of DC? 18 people wanting to play 12 tickets each on the lottery talking to a person behind the counter that can't count past 8 even with 10 fingers is fun to watch for about 2 minutes of your 19 minute wait. Easier to pump the pump 3 times

This seems to be what happens over and over. I have extended my hand to try and put this all behind us so that we can all be friends again. I have extended what is more then a reasonable amount to pay. Who would put in all that stuff for 350 bucks with stainless hardware and tinned wire, let alone fly across country to do it. I mean serisouly am I being unreasonable hear? I wish he would just call me so that we could work this out. I am sure it would take about 10 min on the phone. Instead he seems to just want to avoid the issue. It sucks.

Can I get this SCOPE membership deal? I need a new system and paying for parts only (well most of them anyway) and no labor sounds like a pretty good deal. stecz it was me, I was at lucky's house and typed a reply not realizing I was on his sign in. Anyway my response is that I have known Rick for 15 years and I think Rick is a good guy, Now that being said I still believe after reading this thread that Rick needs to stand up and pay the full amount he owes. Times may be bad but Audiofn did the work for you.
