Hundreds of thousands of dollars dumped into pulling tractors that make rediculous boost and horsepower using the best of the best parts except for the block.

All for about a minute of fun on friday nights at county fairs.

When I was a kid we would go to these....this was before the weighted sled. We used to stand on the side of the track and step on the sled to add weight...there would be a hundred or so people on the sled....it was just a big sheet of metal.
