How much $ to run a race boat?

How much money does it take to run a race boat for a season? Lets see what the costs are for different classes of boats from P on up.

DD...He asked to see the cost of differences of clases, I think what a few of us are talking about is the class 5 and 6 guys can do it with $1000...We all know the SS class will be much more....but its crazy to see from the post it could cost you $1000 per race up to 60k per race....its why a lot of us could relate to F1 and F2..and also A class. it was afordable and had 45+ teams between F1 and
F2....and some crazy racing....
