How fast would this boat be???????

The Volvo duo prop are used a lot more on perf boats than Bravo 3's. I would think it should around 70mph.

I like it

I think it would be great, with a strong 500 I would say 74-75, they run right at 70 with a 415

That looks like a great boat at a great price, if it goes for the 35K. I have not heard anything bad about the Volvos

The drives Volvo used for their performance drives were called DPX drives. They had built in hydraulic steering and were faster than the regular Duoprop drives. That would be an awesome set up on that boat.

I would like to know if the duo prop helps it get on plane. I don't know what speed will be but my brother has one with a 496 hp bravo and it takes forever to get the nose over. We have also asked this question of others that have a simular set up and it seems to be a problem with them. Maybe the duo will be the answer. If you do a test drive let me know how it comes out. Other than that they are a great boat, not a hot rod but very nice well built HEAVY boat quality built.

Yes, the dual prop gives you better bite. It also is much, MUCH better off-plane. Single-engine deep vees wander at no wake speeds. The counter-rotating prop virtually eliminates that. And backing up/docking? Forget about it. Night & day difference.

I have experience with this set up in several different boats you will love it first off and maintanence isnt bad if you happen to launch there's a coupling in the drive that is designed to give before breaking the shaft or twisting it. The boat should run 70ish depending on conditions equipment and so forth

im pretty sure innovation marine did all of volvo hi perf stuff

Innovation Marine did in fact build the "Volvo" 500s and 600s. There is nothing Volvo about the motors other than the stickers. They are very good units.

My 600s have around 200 hrs on them and other than a fuel pump crapping out, I have never had a problem. They run awesome!

If you have any questions, call Innovation. They have always taken the time to answer my questions.
