hotel deals

other than the usual sites like priceline etc does anyone know of any other places to get deals? I'm going to meet some friends in Philly next week and want to stay someplace nice

i stayed in Hilton garden last week in Mt Laurel for 60 bucks. Bout 20 min from philly. Got it on price line

Actually I want to stay right in center city. The Ritz is about 300 a nite and the Sofitel is about 250. Being that I have a table resv'd for me and my friends from midnite until 6am..... I'll prob be just taking a nap and showering there LOL. So maybe I'll just hit the olcomfort inn. I think it's decent

I have used Hotwire and got some deals.But they don't tell you what hotel it is till after you pay.But they will give you 4 or 5 that it will be Sheraton Holiday Inn Hampton inn etc.It's great if you just need a place to sleep within a few miles.But if you need a specific hotel its not good.Same as a rental car got some great deals also.

Hotwired is great for prices but not if you want a particular hotel.

yea I have to figure it out today. Lots of people say just call the hotel you want and sweet talk them on the phone. Maybe I'll try that. I have a line of BS 4 train cars long
