I think it will be tougher regulations, like arsenal permits,and storage in safes for people like myself with large collections and putting the 50.cal in a class 3 registration.I am pretty sure the assault weapons will be banned again, all it does is double the price!Good think I will be in the game bought both of my Barretts M82 & M99 a few years back.My "black" guns are the best investment I have made in a Long time. NRA all the way!!!

She would make a good one- experience, plus she knows a lot of the international players already, but it's hard to figure why she would want it. Sec State is usually a one term deal and she has the 'senator for life' gig practically wrapped up right now.

That is probably the reason right there because Hillary and Diplomacy is laughable.
I watched him briefly last night on 60 Minutes. He was asked directly how he planned to pay for his "social experiment". He thoroughly and absolutely failed to answer the question. In fact, he didn't even obliquely graze the question with his answer. The real answer is this- " I just said that stuff to get elected. Everyone knows it's not possible..."
Like most new presidents, he'll thrash around for a few months on domestic issues and grow frustrated. Then he'll start looking internationally where he doesn't have to deal with that pesky Congress.

Tell the truth- for a change, didn't it feel good listening to a guy who actually has some plans for the country and can string together words into complete and coherent sentences?
I think he's just playin close to the vest. The guy is smart, and I got the feeling he really cares about the country and having a real impact on it's direction. I wouldn't say too much at this point, either. He's not in office yet, and dealing with the economy trumps everything- especially any 'social experiment'. The way those fools are handling the bailout/rescue so far, anything could happen in the next couple of months- why play your hand if you don't have your cards yet?
Dunno about that 'thrashing around' thing, either. They may not have 60 (yet) in the senate, but there is enough dem clout to actually get stuff done for a change.

Cat, think way back to US Govt. 101, who holds the purse strings??? In fact who has held them for the past 2 years while the economy tanked? Who is now pushing a bailout for the automaker unions? (It has nothing to do with the manufacturer's survival) And who pushed the ridiculous last bailout that we are now finding out is already being mismanaged? The Pelosi Reed duo has been very tough on this nation, the Pelosi Reed Obama trio could very well damage the economy for the next 10 years.
Final short essay question: Which presidential candidate caused the largest drop in the Stock Market EVER in the 2 weeks after his election?
